It’s easier to break out of physical chains then it is to break free from our minds. Our minds are the most powerful thing we have in our possession. Our minds have the ability to enslave us or empower us. Our minds can take us to the depths of misery or the greatest of heights. Just because we were slaves long ago, doesn’t mean we are now. Just because you went through something in your past, doesn’t mean it’s your identity. Just because you’re going through something right now, doesn't mean it defines you.
Our minds define us. If the mind is free, you’re free! Free to be the real you and to accomplish what your soul is set out to do on this earth. The soul knows no barriers. It’s deepest desire is to break free. Let it. And experience your greatest joys.
The Hagaddah is hardcover, soft touch laminate with gold foil lettering. It has a velum cover sheet protecting the pages within. There are paintings throughout the Hagaddah. There are descriptions about the paintings as well as Dvar Torah / commentary on some of the Hagaddah segments. There is English translation throughout the entire Hagaddah.
The Hagaddah comes AS IS - JUST THE HAGGADAH. In all it’s glory.
SMASHED GLASS: There are many things that come to mind. The two that I think about are at the Chuppah and Mazaltov (but at different points - I’ll explain). •
I’m referring to That moment when we remember yerushalyim and then he smashes the glass as a significance to the sadness...and then when someone drops a glass and it breaks and we all say, “ Mazal tov! It’s for good things”. •
I remember clearly breaking a glass accidentally, being mortified, but going to the kitchen and chuckling to myself - I knew it was a siman bracha. And it was.I got engaged two months later. It’s not BECAUSE of that, but thinking that way can bring upon more goodness.Who knows? That’s how I like to think. If it can be good, let’s use it for good.I say: if I can’t loose out so I might as well do it! #powerofourthoughts #yaelioriginal #smashedglass #hiddenmessages NOW: do you see it - MAZAL TOV!!
With Flying Colors
We were sitting in the car, pressed for time. (You know that moment in the morning where you have to jump out of the car but have to make a few stops before hand? ) and then...you get stuck behind a garbage truck?! No no no, this garbage truck was piling all the garbage from an apartment building!
I felt the energy shooting out of my finger tips.I could almost move the garbage truck with my bear hands. We had to go!
As I sat there, all up in my head, it hit me, Yaeli - you’re not accomplishing anything!Embrace the moment! So I did just that - opened up iTunes and blasted some great music! We started singing and dancing, all of that negative energy turned into positive emotion and the car was ON! •
You know what happened right? The garbage truck moved! Just like magic! I don’t know of it was a test but if it was, we passed with flying colors! And the kids were able to pack all that energy into their day with music in their head and love in their hearts, Thank God!
