The Hagaddah is hardcover, soft touch laminate with gold foil lettering. It has a velum cover sheet protecting the pages within. There are paintings throughout the Hagaddah. There are descriptions about the paintings as well as Dvar Torah / commentary on some of the Hagaddah segments. There is English translation throughout the entire Hagaddah.

Hamavdil bein kodesh lechol.

Kodesh - white.  Chol - black.
That was my inspiration for the coloration and the design.  It’s split in the middle.  The light can only be seen because of the dark contrast.  Contrast is good..

Sometimes there will be strong winds, a dark cloud, but don’t worry little one, there will always be a sun that comes up after a long night. || This painting actually started off with green tones. When I went to sleep after starting it, some parts of the strokes made me think of wind, so I started imagining this scene. The next morning, I obviously ran to the canvas...as I was painting it, the song - Aleh Katan by Avraham Fried played over and over again in my head. That song is a real tear jerker for me. The lyrics are incredible - I especially love “life isn’t a math lesson, it’s also the test” - TRUE!! So with all that I present to you: HAVE FAITH. Not easy...nope. But it’s life.

I titled this painting Pink Lining, because that is what I saw first ` Which represent the crevices in the kotel where all of our personal prayers and requests are squeezed into, one after the next. We ask, we pray, we beg and we have faith! While we do all that, all we can try to do is focus on that pink, or silver or gold lining. It’s always there…it’s just a matter of where we focus.
