This painting started off as blue. A holy color. That was the background I was drawn to.
Then I began painting the subject and just loved the airiness of it, the clean feel and the way he stood apart. SHIVISI HASHEM LNEGDI TMID. It comes down to that. Clear and simple.
I had a few acrylic boards around and kept thinking what should I do with them?
AND then it simply hit me! PAINT THEM!

This collection is so dear to me for exactly that reason. There’s always a way. Just be open to find one. When this painting hangs on your wall, remind yourself of that. It’s all over if we look around.
