Esther was someone who didn’t want the glitz and glamor. She was modest, shy, young girl in the beginning of the story. But when she was needed her voice turned into one of strength and leadership. She found that somewhere deep within herself and saved the Jewish people. She didn’t know what would happen to her, but she sacrificed anyways. Her story amazes me on so many levels. Firstly, her faith. It was stronger than steel! 2. Her independence. She walked alone. 3. Her deep sense of responsibility, and care! How many times do we think, I’m just one person, what difference can I really make? I think Esther is a true example for everyone - men and women to learn from. As it’s said - “in the place where there isn’t a somebody, try to be that somebody” Esther definitely taught us that.
