I needed to make a quick stop to see what was happening at the gallery. I put my hand in my pocket to get the key but it wasn’t there. I froze. That feeling of shame showered over me. The landlord had just handed me the key and now I have to call him to get a new copy?! What will he think..? All these thoughts waving around in my mind, creating this flood of negative thoughts, ultimately lending itself to a meltdown. •
I stopped the car and thought, what is the purpose of this? Think 💭 it through. Break it down. As I was walking my mind through the day I’ve realized that it was too much. It was time to take a step back. The message was clear as daylight.
I then put my hand into the other pocket and there was the key!💫It was funny...And meaningful.
Sometimes the key to life is simply loosing the key.
