Walking around in Tzfat one night I was taken by this scene.
The intricacies of the gate mixed with stairs saturated with foot steps.
How many people go in an and out daily to elevate themselves?
In Tzfat, you feel it differently.
We need something spiritual to anchor ourselves in this earthly world. Without it, we are anxious, numb and uncomfortable.
In this moment, while snapping this scene, I felt so comfortable. So content and so internally happy. I felt lucky to be apart of a religion that offers me the best and healthiest way to live.
To be able to have the opportunity to go up these steps and ascend.
