SMASHED GLASS: There are many things that come to mind.Ā The two that I think about are at the Chuppah and Mazaltov (but at different points - Iāll explain). ā¢
Iām referring to That moment when we remember yerushalyim and then he smashes the glass as a significance to the sadness...and then when someone drops a glass and it breaks and we all say, ā Mazal tov! Itās for good thingsā.Ā
I remember clearly breaking a glass accidentally, being mortified, but going to the kitchen and chuckling to myself - I knew it was a siman bracha.Ā And it was.Ā I got engaged two months later.Ā Itās not BECAUSE of that, but thinking that way can bring upon more goodness.Ā Who knows? Thatās how I like to think.Ā If it can be good, letās use it for good.Ā I say: if I canāt loose out so I might as well do it! NOW: do you see it - MAZAL TOV!!
