This concept has always been with me ever since I learned about it. Ma Tovu Ohalecha Yaakov... מַה טֹּבוּ אֹהָלֶיךָ יַעֲקֹב מִשְׁכְּנֹתֶיךָ יִשְׂרָאֵל.
In a time where everything is exposed and attention is the focus, I think about this quite often.
Privacy is who we are. Our tents all face a different way and that is how it should be!
Refrain from sharing it all. Keep something’s private. Our nation is built on the home. The marriage. It’s sanctity and it’s purity. In a world where privacy is undervalued, lets remember our tents in the desert...how each entry way faced a different direction as not to see into the other...and an observer from afar who blessed us for it.
Your home should be blessed! Just like these tents were. (There is gold leaf around each tent, signifying the shechina that dwelled with them)
