When I designed this round shagreen leather matzah box, I kept returning to that contrast - the humility of matzah, and the magnitude of what it represents.

The exterior is wrapped in a neutral shagreen leather, soft and refined, intentionally understated. I wanted it to feel grounded and timeless - something that could sit on your  table with quiet confidence. Not loud, not ornate. Just elevated in the most honest way.

Because matzah itself is exactly that.

Inside, you’ll find a neutral rosewood matzah art print - a conversation piece designed to spark reflection around your table. The visual language is gentle and modern, but rooted in something ancient. It is my hope that when you lift the lid, you feel both the weight of tradition and the freshness of renewal.

This box measures 14 inches in diameter and 4 inches deep - spacious enough to hold your matzah beautifully without crowding. And because real life (and crumbs) are part of every meaningful gathering, the bottom panel pops out easily for cleaning. Beauty should never feel fragile. It should be lived with.

To me, matzah represents the courage to leave what is comfortable, the faith to walk into the unknown, and the humility to know that growth does not always look impressive from the outside. Something that sacred deserves a container that honors it.
