When I painted this, I wasn’t trying to get Yerushalayim “right” the way she looks. I was trying to get her spirit. You know that feeling she gives you, the pull, the heartbeat, the history you can almost taste in the air! That’s what I was chasing.
For me, Yerushalayim has never just been a city. She’s this living presence… this mix of strength and softness, past and future all tangled together. Every time I paint her, I’m really painting everything she holds, our stories, our losses, our hopes, all those whispered prayers that somehow never disappear.
While I was working on this piece, I kept thinking about how she stands there, no matter what. She’s been through everything, but she still glows. Not in a perfect way, in a real, raw, resilient way. And I wanted the painting to feel like that too. Like even when life gets messy or overwhelming, there’s something steady, something ancient and comforting, that keeps guiding us forward.
So this is my love letter to her. Yerushalayim as I feel her: alive, brave, glowing from the inside, and always reminding us who we are and where we come from.

Orders placed after 10 AM ship the next business day.
Our UPS pickup is 12 PM, Monday-Thursday (no shipping Friday-Sunday—resting up for more art magic).
Once your package leaves us, it’s in UPS’s hands. If there are delays, we’re happy to help track it down, but we don’t control the UPS time machine.
