A Mother's Prayer | Print Sale

This painting speaks a thousand words. I could write about it for hours—there's so much to it. It was truly a divine experience.

Before I began, I had a few scenes in mind, but I started with a random, subconscious layer of color, covering the entire canvas. Once that layer was dry, I stepped back and was amazed. I saw them— a mother and child, with a single candle between them.

I was so floored, I immediately posted it on Instagram to show where they appeared. Then, I simply enhanced their presence and added another candle.

And there it was—A Mother’s Prayer, a mother praying for her family with her child by her side. The child’s short hair represents either a boy or girl.
